these pics are from forever ago but my comp just barely sent them to me lol. but a lil while back i had to go to a baptism interview and we had to cross like 3 rivers and a bunch of stuff just to get to the persons house but it was really fun actually. i ruined my vans and tore a pair of pants on barbwire but it makes for a good story. well starting up my last 2 changes and ill be headed to an area called Ojojona which is pretty sick cause its kind of touristy so ill be able to buy all my souveneirs and shananigans. my new comp is a real good guy and we should have fun. cant wait itll be real sick. love you guys.

good week honestly. on Monday we got invited to play v-ball against some locals who were actually pretty good. they beat us by like 3 points er’ round. then this week was holy week so everyone was on vacations so the work slowed down a bit. but the mission has this new thing where every companionship is working with 5 less active families and we've been working with one of them and we got to baptize their daughter which was cool her name is Nataly. we hope the fam will start coming to church from now on but we'll see. conference was super good even tho i watched it in Spanish. shoutout to Abri for singing, i totally saw you. prez nelson is super cool. i think it gonna be really good with him. well this week the sisters from my group go home and I'm gonna get a new comp so thats cool i guess. well see how er' thing goes. love you guys.

Crazzzzzzyyy couple of weeks. The 28th of November was transfers for the mission and start of hell week for the secretaries.
Tuesday- So Tuesday the 28th we were running all over the place, picking up the new people from the airport, handing out packages, agendas and a bunch of other crap to missionaries, meetings for all the new missionaries, we had to take all the people going home to the assistants house along with their bags, and then to top it off we had to prepare a church building for a big meeting with an area 70.
Wednesday &Thursday- So Wednesday and Thursday the mission had two meetings with the Elder Cordon, half on Wednesday and half on Thursday, Which means we had to make sure that lunch was served, that everyone had water, and that all the mics and tec were working properly. Then prez told us we were going to have our leadership meeting on Friday. So we were running around, getting everything ready and doing stuff all over again. Needless to say we didnt sleep lol. But everything got crazy on Thursday night when we were heading to set up for the leadership meeting, our prez called us and told us to stop everything and head home. Without asking we turned the truck around and went back to our house. The next morning we figured out why he made us go home.
Friday, Saturday, &Sunday- (So Honduras is in the middle of election process right now and its quite a bit less professional then voting in the states hahah. But apparently the votes are written on pieces of paper and then counted one by one. So Sunday the 26th the elections were held and seeing as it takes FOREVER to count votes by hand they didn't get the official winner till Wednesday. The crazy thing is the guy who is the current president didnt win and because of that he made them do a recount, that made the people reallllllll angry. Apparently the current prez Juan Orlando isn't a great dood and is trying to become kind of like a dictator so the people were really mad when their candidate didn't win. so they started rioting, burning tires, robbing grocery stores, and blowin things up.) Anyways so Friday morning at like 430am we were supposed to take a sister missionary to the airport cause she finished her mission, but on the way to the office to get her passport we saw a huge blockade of people on the road with guns and fire so before we could get close we skrrted around and headed to the house. It was sooo scary but also like super dope. So we called prez and he said ya forget about it we´ll send her home another day. Poor girl had to wait like 4 more days to go home lol. but later that day prez sent out a text that said we all had to stay in our houses on lock-down till further notice. So that´s what we did. The ENTIRE MISSION couldn't leave their houses. this lock-in lasted 4 days. It consisted of a whole lot of Uno, sleeping, skating, and a lil studying i guess lol. It was the break we needed after hell week. Everytime we tried to call prez to try and do our sec jobs he would get mad and tell us not to worry and to just stay safe. Sooo we pretty much took that as his way of giving us a vacation. On Sunday there was no church Honduras wide. It was a crazy weekend.
Monday- Monday prez let us out for a couple hours to write our families and to buy more supplies.
Tuesday till Today- We started to be able to go out and work and do our sec jobs, but still on a fixed schedule. Prez is still on his toes ready for anything seeing as they still havent officially announced the new president. But we are in this weird state of waiting, because we all know that things aren´t back to normal yet but we are still supposed to work like normal. There is a whole lot of gossip running around the mission about us getting locked down again, us getting moved to different missions, and a ton of other stuff. But we really wont know anything till they announce the new prez. As soon as the new president is elected thats when the riots might pick up again or the people might chill down, all depends on the winner.
As far as me, i´m doing all good just anxious to find out whats gonna happen down here lol. Love you guys.

welll its been a pretty crazy week guys. this week we had changes in the office. im officially the new financial secretary which means i have a ton of new responsibilities. im now in charge of making sure all the missionaries get their budgeted money on time, im in charge of making checks for all big mission activities or expenses, i take care of all reimbursements in the mission, and i pretty much have to be counting money alllllll day. its super stressful. i gotta make sure that all of the money of the church is put to good use and that none of it gets lost. honestly not sure why president chose such a bum like me to do the job but i guess its cool he trusts me. really the only perk that comes out of this job tho is now i get to drive. Driving in Honduras is one of the most fun and risky things ever. there are literally no rules. two lane roads become 3 or 4 lane roads, red lights are pretty much just stop sign, and the honking is nonstop. its super scary but it kinda doesnt even feel like driving, i juts feel like im in a go kart making my own rules on the street. the funny thing is that even the cops dont enforce rules, the other day i ran a red light and instead of doing anything responsible the cops actually sped up behind us to catch the red light lol. its seriously insane, im gonna feel real weird when i drive in the states again. but anyway because me and stone got moved up my boiz huscroft and Gonzalez got moved back to the field and we have two new guys elder merida whos almost about to finish his mish and my new comp elder zachreson who came with me to the mission. hes a chill guy hes from AZ too but from kingman, so hes kinda a small small town guy lol. so this past week ive just been teaching him my old job and ive had gonzo teaching me this new one. honestly everything is going good over here just stressin about my new work. crazy how fast time is flyin in the office tho, before i know it itll be 2018 which means i will have finished my calendar year in the mish which is pretty cool. not much else new. love you guys soooo much.
